Savings Bank Account

Individuals above the age of 21 years of any nationality /resident status other than Bahrain are eligible to open the Savings Bank Account. Minimum balance of USD 50.00 is to be maintained by individuals and USD 1000.00 by others. Prescribed interest will be payable at half yearly interval as at the end of June and December. Being a Wholesale Banking Branch, we do not offer Cheque Book or ATM facility and all transactions are permitted/ done through SWIFT only. We also offer only view rights through Internet Banking facility. Current Accounts

Individuals above the age of 21 years of any nationality /resident status other than Bahrain and entities such as firms, companies, clubs, trusts, associations, societies etc. are eligible to open the account. Minimum balance of USD 5000.00 is to be maintained by non-corporates and USD 10000.00 by corporates. No interest will be payable in current account. Being a Wholesale Banking Branch, we do not offer Cheque Book or ATM facility and all transactions are permitted/ done through SWIFT only.
